The Trispiral Handle

The Trispiral Handle is a style rooted in our native ancient symbols, and consists of three spiraling arms, curving outward from the centre.

It is inspired by the similar symbol of the triple spiral carved within these isles, found in sacred sites such as Newgrange, Ireland, built in 2,300 B.C.E, and became a common symbol around the Celtic world. Within Celtic mythology, three was a magical number, and this sense still continues within modern Druidry, and other pagan paths.

I first developed this style of drum handle in 2014 as a way to root these drums in our Celtic ancestry and magical traditions, and it has been a popular option for bespoke orders ever since.

In early 2022, we introduced our Sacred Stones: Special Collection of shamanic drums featuring stones and crystals from Britain, and all of these were based around the Trispiral handle to honour its ancient roots within this land.

This style, and its connection to the ancient Cetlitc symbol connects us with the ancestral magical traditions of this land, and great for those who are wanting to work with their drum to connect with these energies.
