Heron Drums’ Anniversary Raffle raises £2130

Heron Drums recently held a Charity Raffle and raised £2130 for environmental protection and indigenous rights organisations. The very special Reindeer Drum and the rest of the prizes have made their way to their forever home, as we close our 10 Year Anniversary celebrations.

To mark our recent 10 Year Anniversary, we held a Charity Raffle, raising funds for four organisations, Rewilding Britain, First Nations Development Institute, Trees for Life and Environmental Justice Foundation, in support of their work for indigenous rights and environmental protection.

We celebrated our 10 Year Anniversary at the start of September with an Online Ceremony, special events and offers, and this Charity Raffle which ran throughout the month,

We set out with a fundraising target of £2000. The Raffle ran for 5 weeks, and after over a thousand ticket entries from over two hundred supporters, we raised a grand total of £2130 for the organisations.

The winner, Tui Mackenzie, was chosen live on Instagram on Friday 30th September, with a random name picker, and her new Reindeer Shamanic Drum, along with drum bag, beater and a lot more, began its journey to her.

We are extremely grateful to reach 10 years at Heron Drums, sharing the power and healing of these very special medicine tools, and thank everyone who joined us in supporting these organisations and causes through entering the raffle.
