Meets from 7:30pm on the last Tuesday of the month*
At Singleton Environment Centre, Wesley School Road, Ashford, Kent, TN23 5LW
We meet together to bathe in the spirit of the drum. Together we will journey into the landscape of our ancestors, to connect with that timeless wisdom that still rolls over these hills and whispers through the forests.
This Shamanic Drumming Circle is an open circle which meets monthly on the last Tuesday of the month. Please share details with any of your friends who would like to drum with us.
Weather permitting, we meet to drum outside, around our sacred fire, so please dress appropriately for the season, and wrap up warm when it is cold. If the weather is rainy or very windy, we will hold the circle in the Rowan Room. An update on where we will be drumming will be given before each drumming circle on the Facebook event page, after looking at the weather forecast.
We meet in the Rowan Room of the Singleton Environment Centre from 7:30pm to open the circle around the fire at 8:00pm, and we will drum together until about 9:30pm. There are stumps, logs and benches around the fire, though for a dry bum, bring something to sit on or even a camping chair. If we are in the Rowan Room, chairs will be available, but you may wish to bring a pillow or cushion to sit on the floor.
For the evening, we will each give £5 to go to cover the hall fees.
Bring your own drum, or use one of mine, and any rattles or other instruments that could be brought into the mix.
