Delivery Times

We look to dispatch your order to you as soon as possible. Delivery times vary according to weight of order and destination country, and are sent either via Royal Mail or a courier service.

We are often on the road with our workshops and events, so please understand that orders placed whilst we are away at a show, workshop or traveling may be subject to a few days’ delay.

If you know in advance that you need an order by a particular date, do contact us as early as possible to make sure that we can get your items to you on time.

Delivery Costs

We now offer FREE UK delivery on Shamanic Drums.

Shipping costs apply for drum bags, drum making supplies and all international orders.


Whole and part orders can be cancelled by telephone, text message or email anytime right up to the time of dispatch, unless your items have been specially ordered (including commissions and unusual quantities).

Returns, refunds & exchange policy

With our Shamanic Drums, it is often only when you have played it and felt it that you know if it is the right drum for you. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with the item you have received from Heron Drums, please telephone or email us within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange a return. Once the item has been dispatched it becomes your responsibility to return an order or item in an unmarked and resalable condition before we can provide an exchange or issue a refund to you. Return postage charges cannot be refunded unless the product is faulty or not as described.

Returns received outside of the 14 day period can only be can only be exchanged not refunded and the credit will only apply to the actual cost of the goods not any shipping charges. Please note that return postage charges cannot be refunded unless the product is faulty or not as described.

This does not apply to bespoke drum orders, however these are still covered by the guarantee should there be any fault.

Non Delivery

In the case of non-delivery or missing goods please contact us in the first instance by telephone or email. If a sufficient time has passed for the goods to be delivered by the original postage/courier method, we will contact them to report the non-delivery. In case of missing orders, we will contact you to arrange an exchange or refund. For replacement deliveries we will choose to upgrade the delivery service to a more secure one which may require your signature.

Two Year Shamanic Drum Guarantee

All of our Shamanic Drums on our online shop and those made for bespoke orders are covered by a two year guarantee from the date of purchase. We believe in the quality of the medicine tools that we craft, and believe that you will enjoy your journey with them for many, many years, but if any of your items are faulty please let us know immediately on 07749556649 or by emailing so that we can rectify the problem as quickly as possible.

This guarantee does not cover any accidental damage, misuse of the drum, or any problem associated with improper storage or transporting of the drum.

We want you to be totally happy with everything you purchase from us but if for any reason there is a fault with your Shamanic Drum, within a year of purchase, please contact us immediately. Any item should be returned in suitable packaging. We will then arrange to repair, replace or refund, as necessary.

Drum Repairs

Sometimes accidents do happen and drums break. Even if it is not covered by the guarantee above, or even if it is not one of our drums, please contact us if your drum has broken and we can advise on how it can be repaired.

There is an option to send the drum to us and we can repair it for you. For this service, we charge approximately, £100-150, depending on what materials we need to supply.
